Meanwhile, Premier Investments Ltd (ASX:) added 5.50% or 1.52 points to end at 29.15 and Washington H Soul Pattinson&Co Ltd (ASX:) was up 3.76% or 1.42 points to 39.16 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ramelius Resources Ltd (ASX:), which fell 6.09% or 0.085 points to trade at 1.310 at the close. Centuria Industrial Reit Unit (ASX:) declined 5.86% or 0.23 points to end at 3.77 and Perseus Mining Ltd (ASX:) was down 5.70% or 0.085 points to 1.405.
By 731 to 624, falling stocks outnumbered those on the Sydney Stock Exchange while 415 ended unchanged.
Computershare Ltd.’s shares rose by 5.73%, or 0.97 to 17.90. Premier Investments Ltd. (ASX) shares rose to new highs, up 5.50%. This is a rise of 1.52 to 29.15.
