Ethiopia air strike in Tigray region killed at least 17 people

ADDIS ABBA Reuters – On Monday, a strike on Ethiopia’s Tigray area left 17 deaths, mostly in women. Several people were also injured by the attack. This was reported by two aid workers, citing eyewitnesses and local authorities.

The Ethiopian military spokesperson, Colonel Getnet Adane, and the government spokesperson Legesse Tuulu didn’t immediately reply to our request for comment. In the conflict that lasted 14 months with Tigrayan rebel forces, the government previously denied attacking civilians.
