Two experts on Tuesday suggested that imposing sanctions on Russia might not help in the resolution of tensions between the U.S. and Ukraine.

Tony Brenton (a former British Ambassador to Russia) stated that “sanctions do not work against Russia.” Russia just gets more stupid.”

Angela Stent, director-emerita at Georgetown University’s Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies, also spoke to CNBC. “Street Signs Asia”Russia is not being intimidated by sanctions.
