Dollar dips after U.S. consumer prices data -Breaking

REUTERS/Kacper PempelNEW YORK, (Reuters) – The U.S. Dollar fell by two months against a basket currency on Wednesday as data revealed that U.S. consumer price rose in December. However, this was in line economists’ predictions.
At 95.339 the U.S. Dollar Currency Index (which tracks the greenback’s performance against six major currencies) was 0.3% lower than it had been since Nov. 15.
