Chinese developer Shimao to hold creditor meetings to vote on ABS payment extension

SHANGHAI, (Reuters) – According to documents obtained from Reuters, Shimao Group Holdings is a Chinese property developer. It will meet with two investors in asset-backed securities (ABS), on January 17, to discuss payment extensions.

The payments for the ABS products are due by this month. Shimao seeks to extend the deadlines up to 2022 according to the documents. Sources confirmed the document.
