KLM’s CEO Elbers will not serve third term -statement -Breaking

AMSTERDAM, (Reuters) – Pieter Elbers is no longer the chief executive at KLM, Air France’s Dutch subsidiary. The company announced on Thursday that Elbers will be retiring.

Elbers (51), a veteran of KLM for 30 years, was responsible for overseeing restructurings during and after the coronavirus epidemic. He will retire as of May 1, 20,23 according to company.

Elbers stated that he is proud of the time he spent with KLM and will continue to support KLM as they transition towards new leadership.

Air France Chief Executive Officer Ben Smith and Anne-Marie Couderc expressed their gratitude for Elbers’ service in a statement.
