Chainalysis’ October 20, 2021 report showed that Global Crypto Adoption increased by 880% over the previous year. These figures aren’t driven solely by crypto whales. They more likely reflect actions taken by over a million people. These numbers are indicative of major changes in the governance, economic and financial systems.

With its distributed capabilities, blockchain technology will be able to cross national borders. This could impact personal accountability and national authority. Government leaders must work together to address the challenges facing existing systems. Regulators must function locally and internationally for those interconnected by new technologies, paradigms and communities.
