Investing.com – U.S. stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index fell 0.56% at the close of NYSE. However, it gained 0.08% and added 0.59%.

They were the top performers at the session Amgen Inc (NASDAQ:), rose 1.95% to trade at 233.36 at close. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ;) added 1.77% to its closing price of 310.20, or 5.40 percent. Chevron In late trade, Corp (NYSE 🙂 was up by 1.70% or 2.16 point to 128.96

The worst performers of the session were JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:), which fell 6.15% or 10.34 points to trade at 157.89 at the close. Home Depot Inc (NYSE: ) fell 3.87%, or 14.98 points, to finish at 372.00 American Express Company (NYSE 🙂 fell 2.82% to 168.40, or 4.89 point.

The top performers on the S&P 500 were Las Vegas Sands Corp (NYSE:), which rose 14.15% at 42.99 Wynn Resorts Ltd (NASDAQ:), which was up 8.60% at 91.47, and Discovery Communications C Inc(NASDAQ:), which gained 7.04% to close at 30,40.

The worst performers were JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:) which was down 6.15% to 157.89 in late trade, Monster Beverage Corp (NASDAQ.) lost 4.73% and settled at 89.91. Simon Property Group Inc was at 155.70.

These were the top performers in the NASDAQ Composite Guardforce AI Co Ltd (NASDAQ :), which increased 52.83% to 1.62 Mainz Biomed BV (NASDAQ: ) The stock was up 26.95%, to settle at 20,87 Theseus Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ) gained 22.21 percent to finish at 11.73

They were among the most disappointing. Smith-Midland Corp (NASDAQ:) The stock was trading at a 16.83%-27.38 ratio in late trade. FTC Solar Inc (NASDAQ:), which fell 15.62% to settle for 5.13 Powerbridge Technologies Co Ltd (NASDAQ :), which fell 13.68% to 0.33850 at the closing.

On the New York Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered those that were advancing by 1885 to1344, and 127 ended unchanged.

Chevron Corp’s shares rose to new 3-years highs. This was an increase of 1.70%, or 2.16 to 128.96. Mainz Biomed B.V. (NASDAQ:), shares rose to new heights, with a 26.95% increase or 4.43 to 20.87. FTC Solar Inc’s shares (NASDAQ:), fell to new lows, dropping 15.62%. This is a loss of 0.95 to 5.13. Powerbridge Technologies Co Ltd shares (NASDAQ:), fell to their lowest levels, falling 13.68% or 0.05610 to 0.3850.

The , which measures the implied volatility of S&P 500 options, was down 5.51% to 19.19.

For February delivery, Gold Futures fell 0.22% to $1817.35 per troy an ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose by 2.16 percent to reach $84.28/barrel, and March Brent oil, which rose by 2.24% or 1.89, to trade at $86.36/barrel.

EUR/USD fell 0.32% at 1.1416 while USD/JPY rose by 0.02% at 114.19.

The US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.3% at 95.148.
