Russia detains six more suspected REvil group members -Breaking

MOSCOW (Reuters). – A Moscow court placed six additional suspects in the ransomware criminal group REvil under two month detention. This was a day after Russia said it had dismantled REvil at the request the United States.
They were identified as Mikhail Golovachuk and Ruslan Khansvyarov, Dmitry Korotayevs, Dmitry Korotayevs, Alexei Malozemovs, Artyom Zets, Daniil Pozyrevsky.
Russian authorities have taken the REVil members into custody and are currently charging them in an unusual display of U.S. and Russian collaboration during high tensions with the US over Ukraine.
Police and FSB conducted a search of 25 addresses. 14 individuals were taken into custody. The FSB listed assets it had seized, including 20 high-end cars and $600,000.
The United States welcomed these arrests.
In November, the United States announced that it would offer a reward up to $10,000,000 for any information leading to the location or identification of those in key positions in the REvil organization.
Interfax was told by a source that the Russian-born members of the group would not be turned over to America.
