The Australian Open swings into the Metaverse on Decentraland -Breaking

Tennis Australia is partnering with Decentraland in hosting the Australian Open (AO), which would be the first ever official grand slam of tennis in the Metaverse.

For the duration of the Australian Open, a virtual replica of Melbourne Park’s key locations, such as the Rod Laver Arena or Grand Slam Park will be available. It will also be accessible for the duration of the tournament. The Australian Open will begin on January 17.
