U.S. CDC warns against travel to 22 destinations over COVID-19 -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Tuesday warned against traveling to 22 countries and territories due to a growing number of COVID-19 patients, which includes those from Israel, Australia and Egypt.

The CDC increased its travel warning to “Level 4: Very High” and advised Americans not to travel to these destinations. These include Panama and Qatar as well the Bahamas, Bahrain and Bermuda.

The CDC has now placed just more than 100 countries and territories in “Level 4” status. Another 20 countries were also elevated to “Level 3: High” by the CDC, including Uganda, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Costa Rica, and Cuba. According to the CDC, Americans who are not vaccinated should avoid any unnecessary travel to these destinations.
