Health insurer UnitedHealth profit rises 84% on Optum strength -Breaking

(Reuters] – UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:) reported Wednesday its quarterly profit increase of 84%. This was due in part to the Optum unit, which is its business that manages drug benefits management.

The fourth quarter ended December 31, saw net earnings of $4.07 trillion or $4.26 per shares, up from $2.21billion or $2.30/share a year prior.
