Biden’s nominee to replace Justice Breyer to receive ‘prompt’ Senate hearing

(Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden’s nomination to succeed Liberal Justice Stephen Breyer at the Supreme Court will get a “prompt Hearing” and be reviewed and approved by the Senate in “all deliberate Speed”, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced on Wednesday.

Breyer will be retiring at the conclusion of his current term, which runs until June 30, at age 83, according to NBC News and CNN.
