Ukraine expects Russia to stay on diplomatic track for next two weeks -Breaking

COPENHAGEN (Reuters – Russia and Ukraine will continue their diplomatic relations for two more weeks, according to Dmytro Kunleba the Ukrainian Foreign Minister.

Kuleba spoke out about the Paris talks, saying that “nothing has changed”, and this was the negative news.

He said, “The good news was that advisors agreed to meet at Berlin in two weeks which means that Russia is likely to continue on the diplomatic track for the next two week,” in Copenhagen after a meeting in Copenhagen with Jeppe Kofod, his Danish counterpart.

Paris’s “Normandy” talks were seen by many as an attempt to ease tensions in the separatist conflict in east Ukraine, which could escalate into a war.

Russia is demanding that Ukraine talks directly with Russian proxies at Donetsk/Luhansk rather than negotiate with Russia. Kuleba stated that this will not be possible, it is an issue of principle.

Donetsk is an autonomous republic in eastern Ukraine, while Luhansk can be found in Donbass.
