The Sandbox has announced a partnership agreement with Warner Music Group (or WMG) to build a music theme park and concert space within the gaming universe. The Warner Music Group LAND will be hosting concerts featuring WMG artists.

This initiative marked Warner Music’s first entry into the nonfungible token (NFT) metaverse realm. Cointelegraph was provided with a statement by the Sandbox, which stated that its purpose is to enable Warner Music artists to have immersive social experiences. Sandbox may provide an opportunity for artists to connect with their audience, explore virtual entertainment, generate revenue streams, and reach a worldwide community.
