IMF backs Ukraine’s monetary policy and need to lower inflation expectations -Breaking

KYIV, Reuters – Vahram stepanyan (IMF representative in Ukraine) said Friday that the International Monetary Fund supports Ukraine’s central bank’s monetary strategy and that it must lower inflation expectations.

In an attempt to combat high inflation and the effects of a Russian standoff, Ukraine’s central banking raised its interest rates to 10% in January.
