WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Finally, the Biden family has a cat.

First lady Jill Biden’s office has announced America’s first family is excited to welcome a two-year-old, gray-and-white-striped feline named Willow to the White House.

Biden is a professor at a community college and named the cat Willow Grove after Michael LaRosa, her first lady’s spokesperson.

LaRosa explained that Willow was a Pennsylvania farm cat and made an immediate impression upon Dr. Biden 2020. She jumped on stage to interrupt her speech at a campaign stop, making a big impression.” “Seeing their instant bond, the farm owner realized that Willow belonged to Dr. Biden.”

In April, Dr. Biden stated that the family owned a female cat and she was “waiting in their wings.”

LaRosa explained that the green-eyed tabby cat with short hair was getting settled at the White House. She had her favorite treats and toys and there was plenty of space for him to explore.

Bidens adopted Commander in December, when he was just four months old.

Champ was killed in 2021. Major was a rescue dog that the family adopted prior to coming to the White House. He is currently living offsite with friends and family after several bite incidents at the White House.
