LONDON, (Reuters) – Prince Harry of Britain and Meghan (NYSE:) expressed concern about Spotify’s COVID-19 misinformation and committed to working with it. A spokesperson from their Archewell foundation stated that on Sunday.

Joni Mitchell and Neil Young, singer-songwriters, have removed their songs from Spotify to protest misinformation being spread about COVID-19 vaccinations.

As part of their attempts to earn a living after their divorce from the British royal family in 2020, Harry and Meghan have signed several corporate agreements, including one to host and produce podcasts on Spotify.

Every day, hundreds of millions are affected every single day by rampant misinformation and its serious consequences. “Our co-founders expressed concerns to Spotify last April about the real and serious consequences of COVID-19 disinformation on Spotify’s platform,” said the spokesperson.

“We continue to raise our concerns with Spotify in order to see that Spotify makes changes to the platform to alleviate this public health crisis.” This is a moment we look forward to Spotify addressing and we will continue to work with them as they do.”

Spotify did not respond to Reuters’ Sunday query via its website.

According to the company’s “detailed contents policies,” more than 21,000 podcast episodes related COVID-19 were removed by the Swedish company.

Young protested that his music was being broadcast on the same platform and Joe Rogan’s popular postcast, “The Joe Rogan Experiment”. Rogan is controversial for his opinions on the pandemic, the government mandates and the vaccines needed to stop the spread the coronavirus.

An earlier letter signed by 270 doctors and scientists urging Spotify to act against Rogan was sent this month. Rogan had been accused of spreading falsehoods via the podcast.
