Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov remarked that Bitcoin mining will make Ukraine a ‘’high-tech state’’ after the government legalized cryptocurrency last September.

The government also legalized virtual currencies in addition to cryptocurrency.

He stated that crypto-investment can bring in transparent investors, and help to identify the country within the high-tech world.

Ukraine credits itself for being the main decentralized finance hub in Eastern Europe as well as the rest of the world. Later, basic rules on digital financial assets were imposed and the country was forced to partially stop its crypto plans.
