Solana Pay Introduces New Standards for Blockchain-Based Digital Commerce and Physical Goods Transactions

Solana Pay was launched today. It provides merchants and customers with new payment protocols and standards to allow direct acceptance of and settlement of digital dollars, such (USDC) at point-of-sale and online.

New commerce features are brought to you by pay. Merchants can accept any amount of digital dollars compatible with Solana’s blockchain and have them move at their convenience. Circle Internet Financial, LLC, an international financial technology company providing payments and financial services for internet businesses, and principal operator for USD Coin (USDC), developed payment management and treasury management systems that support Solana Pay standards, such as the ability to allow merchants accept USDC payments directly and quickly at almost zero cost.
