FTX acquires Japan’s FCA-licensed crypto exchange Liquid -Breaking

American billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, announced the acquisition by his company Japanese crypto firm Liquid Group as well as its subsidiaries.
FTX will also acquire Quoine Corporation as part of this deal. Quoine Corporation is a Financial Services Agency approved crypto exchange. Cointelegraph reported previously that Quoine Corporation, a Financial Services Agency (FSA)-approved crypto exchange will be acquired by FTX. Quoine obtained a Type I Financial Instruments Business licencepursuant to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act of the Japanese regulatory agencies.
