(Reuters] – French vaccine designer Valneva aims at increasing revenues by as much as 70% year over year thanks to a surge from COVID-19, the company announced on Thursday.

In 2022, the company expects to earn between 430 and 590 million euro ($485.73million to $666.46million), which includes 350 to 500 million Euros of COVID-19 vaccination sales. These are subject to regulatory approvals.

Valneva’s 2021 revenues soared 216% year on year to 348.1 millions euros. This was mainly because of COVID related revenue under a terminated arrangement in Britain.
