He said that his country is strong and has unprecedented international support.
Volodymyr Zeleskiy claimed that Ukraine is not sinking Titanic. He also accused Washington of inciting panic when the country didn’t have “any tanks on the streets.”
Kuleba stated in a tweet that Ukraine today has “a strong army”, unprecedented international support and Ukrainians faith in the country.
“The enemy should fear us and not us.”
Two U.S. officials stated that Russia was ready to invade Ukraine in mid-February. Russia had already put about 70% of its combat power and sent more tactical battalion groups along the border.
Jake Sullivan, White House National Security Advisor said Sunday that Russia can take military action at any time but may still choose diplomacy.
Kuleba stated that different capitals may have their own scenarios but Ukraine was ready to accommodate any developments.
Paolo Gentiloni (EU Economic Commissioner) stated on Sunday that the emphasis should be placed on diplomacy.
On RAI, the Italian national broadcaster, he stated: “We need to help NATO countries bordering Russia”
We must be ready for any economic reaction and/or sanctions in the event of a decline.
Russia has deployed more than 100,000 soldiers near Ukraine’s borders to spark fears of an invasion. Moscow claims it does not intend to invade Ukraine, but may take military action in the event that its security requirements are not met.
These include the promise that NATO would never admit Ukraine. This is a request Washington and NATO both rejected.
