China, U.S. should address trade issues on basis of mutual respect

BEIJING, (Reuters) – China and the United States must address trade issues on a basis of mutual respect. The Chinese foreign ministry stated Monday that China was urging the United States to encourage Beijing to implement concrete steps to fulfill their commitments in a trade agreement.

Zhao Lijian spoke on behalf of the foreign ministry and said that there are no losers in trade frictions.
