Podcaster Joe Rogan gets $100 million offer from Trump-affiliated site Rumble -Breaking

(Reuters] – Rumble Inc, a YouTube-style YouTube website, is offering Joe Rogan $100 Million over the next four years. It comes days after Rogan had apologized for using racial slurs within his podcast.

Rogan faces backlash from COVID-19 misinformation in the program he hosts on Spotify (NYSE :). This is after Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and Joni Mitchell removed their content.

Spotify added a content advisory to every episode that discussed COVID-19, after scientists and doctors urged it to stop Rogan spreading lies.

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski wrote to Rogan Monday in an email addressed to him. The message was shared on Rumble’s facebook page.

For 100 million dollars, how about all of your old shows, new and not censored, brought to Rumble over four years for $100,000,000?

Rogan didn’t immediately reply to Reuters’ request for comment.

Since Spotify started to feature it in 2020, his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience”, has been one of Spotify’s most popular. The Wall Street Journal then reported that Spotify’s exclusive licensing contract for the show had been worth more than $100 millions.

On the news, CF Acquisition VI shares, the SPAC which has agreed to make Rumble public, rose more than 18%. Rumble had been valued at $2.1billion when it was first announced back in December.

Rumble, a Canadian-based company was launched in 2013. It has now entered into an agreement with Truth Social to provide video streaming and audio for the former U.S. president Donald Trump’s social media platform.
