U.S. House panel to hold oversight hearing on Washington subway system -Breaking

A hearing will be held by the House Oversight Subcommittee of Government Operations on the issue. Last month, the District of Columbia subway system and portions of Virginia and Maryland declared that they planned to defer the return of trains similar to the one that was canceled in October for an additional 90 days.
Following inspections of railcars damaged in the accident, an October safety commission ordered them to remove 60%.
