Yum BrandsThe company announced mixed results for the fourth quarter on Wednesday. This was due to higher profits being impacted by lower costs, which led to earnings declines.

Premarket trading saw shares of the company rise less than 1%

  • Revenue: $1.89Billion, vs. $1.88B expected

Yum posted a fourth quarter net income of $330million, or $1.11 per stock, which is down from the $332 million or $1.08 share a year ago.

The earnings of the company were $0.02 per share (excluding any items), which is below the expected $1.09 per shares by Refinitiv-surveyed analysts.

Net sales rose 8% to $1.89 billion, topping expectations of $1.88 billion.
