KFC-parent Yum Brands beats comparable sales estimates -Breaking

The strong demand for Yum Brands Inc’s tacos and fried Chicken was fueled by people venturing out after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted.
Yum offers special menus to retain customers.
Sales in comparable quarters rose 5% for this company which also operates Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Refinitiv polled analysts expecting an increase of 4.5%.
The same-store sales of KFC restaurants increased by 5% and Taco Bell’s by 8%. Analysts had expected them to grow by 4.1% & 6.1%, respectively.
From $1.08, earnings per share rose from $1.08 to $1.11.
