Siemens agrees to sell logistics business to Koerber in 1.15 billion euro deal -Breaking

ZURICH, (Reuters) – Siemens announced Wednesday that it has reached an agreement to sell the mail-and-package business of Siemens Logistics Business to German technology group Koerber. The purchase price was 1.15 billion euros ($1.31 million).

The agreement, which Reuters had reported as imminent on Wednesday, will be finalized in the current calendar year.

Siemens is focusing on smart buildings and industrial automation, so this sale marks the company’s latest sales.
