Canada must use its federal power to alleviate the economic chaos caused by the blocking of the vital U.S.-Canada trading route by anti-coronavirus mandates protesters, U.S. President Joe Biden said Thursday.

“If the protesters refuse to leave, we will need to find a way forward. “If that requires physically removing them that is what it means, then we are prepared to do so,” he stated.

Dilkens stated that Windsor wanted a court injunction for the removal of the protesters and that he was trying to peacefully resolve the problem.

His statement was, “While it is gratifying to some to see the demonstrations being removed, such an action may inflame this situation and certain cause more people to come here and contribute to the protest. We don’t want any conflict.”
