Portals, a metaverse startup has received new funds to fund its browser-based metaverse. This allows users to access the world without any VR equipment.

Portals cofounder Adam Gomez said to Cointelegraph that the browser-based portal lowers barriers for people wanting to access the metaverse. Clicking a link will allow you to go into the metaverse, or another person’s space. The user doesn’t need a VR headset, or even a gaming computer to access or create the metaverse.
