OnlyFans introduces NFT verified profile pictures

OnlyFans now allows members to show verified NFTs on their profile pictures.

In December, the popular subscription website for online adult content announced the addition of this feature. This social media company joins Reddit (NYSE:), YouTube (NYSE;), and Twitter (NYSE 🙂 which all are exploring new ways to include digital assets on their sites.

Ami Gan, the CEO of OnlyFans, said this in an interview with Reuters:

It is our mission to enable creators to realize their true potential. This section is the first in a series of steps to explore the potential role for NFTs on our platform.

At the moment, only Ethereum-based NFTs will be supported by the platform. The icon can be found on each NFT profile picture. Any user who clicks the NFT profile photo will see information about OpenSea’s digital collectible.
