Tesla sold 59,845 China-made vehicles in January -CPCA -Breaking

REUTERS/Lucy NicholsonBEIJING, (Reuters) –U.S.-based electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla (NASDAQ) Inc reported Monday that it sold 59 845 Chinese-made vehicles during January. This was according to the China Passenger Car Association.
Tesla sold 70,847 Chinese-made Model 3 sedans in December.
Chinese EV maker Nio (NYSE) Inc sold 9,652 cars in January. That’s 33.6% higher than last year. Xpeng was able to deliver 12,922 cars.
According to the CPCA, passenger car sales decreased by 4.5% in China in January, with 2.11 million cars sold.
