U.S. stocks lower at close of trade; Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.49% -Breaking

Investing.com – U.S. stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index dropped 0.03% and the index lost 0.49% at the close.

These were the best performers of the session Nike Inc (NYSE:) rose 1.01%, or 1.41 points, to trade at 141.59 by the close. Walt Disney Company (NYSE: ) added 0.92% or 1.38 to finish at 150.85 Coca-Cola Co In late trade, the NYSE: was 0.65% higher or 0.39 point to 60.68

Top performers in the NASDAQ Composite are BioDelivery Sciences International (NASDAQ) – 52.75% increase to 5.560 Knightscope Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 rose 32.91% to settle in 8.40. Alpine 4 Holdings Inc was also up (32.91%), and closed at 1.81.

Dave Inc (NASDAQ) was the worst performer, falling 36.91% and 5.88 in late trading. RumbleON Inc (NASDAQ:), which fell 30.22% to 26.86, and Gravity Co Ltd (NASDAQ.) which dropped 26.45% to 45.44 by the end.

The New York Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing by 2319: 936. 118 closed unchanged. On the Nasdaq Stock Exchange 2576 declined and 1285 advanced while 204 closed unchanged.

BioDeliverySciences International (NASDAQ) shares rose to 52 week highs, up 52.75%. This is an increase of 1.920 to 5.606 RumbleON Inc shares (NASDAQ:), fell to 52 week lows, down 30.22%. That’s an 11.63-26.86 drop. Stocks of Gravity Co Ltd (NASDAQ) dropped to 52 week lows, down 26.45% (16.34 to 45.44).

The , which measures the implied volatility of S&P 500 options, was up 3.55% to 28.33.

For April delivery, Gold Futures rose 1.68% to $1873.00 per troy-ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose 1.73 percent to reach $94.83 per barrel in March, and April Brent oil, which fell 0.02 or $0.02 to trade at $95.66/barrel.

EUR/USD was stable at 0.00%, at 1.1305. USD/JPY rose by 0.01% to 115.54.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.2% at 96.265
