Avolon says supply chain woes may dent Airbus output ambitions -Breaking

SINGAPORE, (Reuters) – The CEO of Airbus’ second largest aircraft leasing firm said Tuesday that Airbus might have to temper its plans for increasing jet production due to supply chain problems.

Domhnal Slattery CEO at Avolon stated to a Singapore Airshow audience that his plans were “not as ambitious (Airbus) than what he had communicated six months or nine months prior.”

CFM International, the head of engine manufacturer CFM International stated that there is a constraint in the supply chain right now.

Both firms expressed concern over the rapid increase in jetliner production. Airbus could not be reached immediately for comment.
