McConnell spoke in a Senate speech, “I am looking forward to talking with Chairman Powell about inflation and the current state of our economic system this afternoon,” McConnell added.
McConnell stated that McConnell’s “creative leadership” helped to stabilize the economy in the early days of the COVID recession.
McConnell attacked Democrats over policies that have encouraged inflation, and criticised some Fed nominees under President Joe Biden who are currently being examined by the Senate.
