Nord Stream 2 on table for Russia sanctions

MUNICH, (Reuters) – All options exist regarding sanctions against Russia in case it attacks Ukraine. This includes the Nord Stream 2 pipeline that will bring Russian gas into Germany.

Baerbock, a speaker at the Munich Security Conference said that all Western countries are working together to prepare “unprecedented sanction” against Russia.

She stated that Germany is prepared to pay an economic high price. All options, including Nord Stream 2, are available to me.

Baerbock, despite the absence of a Russian delegation to the summit security conference for the first-time in many decades, sent a message the Kremlin that security can’t be at the expense of other countries.
