Russia-exposed Renault says is ‘carefully’ following Ukraine-related diplomacy -Breaking

PARIS (Reuters). Renault The spokesperson for the French automaker said that (PA:), is closely monitoring the Ukraine security situation to assess any impacts on its business.

“We closely follow the diplomatic negotiations. “It is not possible to determine what the sanctions might be at this time,” Rie Yamane – Renault’s corporate communication manager, wrote to Reuters in an email asking if there was a contingency plan that could help the company in case the Western governments impose sanctions on Russia.

On Tuesday, the United States of America and its European allies announced new sanctions against Russia after President Vladimir Putin acknowledged two separatist regions in Eastern Ukraine. The announcement intensified Western fear about an upcoming war in Europe.
