U.S. Supreme Court rejects challenge to Maine COVID-19 vaccine mandate -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court denied a challenge against Maine’s COVID-19 mandate for healthcare workers. It also rejected for the second consecutive time a group who had sought a religious exemption.

Unnamed plaintiffs who identified themselves as Maine health workers objecting to vaccinations for religious reasons were denied by the justices. A November emergency request from the same plaintiffs to block Maine’s enforcement of the mandate was rejected by the court. The group is represented by Christian legal advocates.
