Senate panel to try again next week to advance Biden’s Fed nominees

(Reuters] – President Joe Biden will again try to get his slate of nominations to the U.S. Federal Reserve approved next Wednesday by the Senate Banking Committee, said a Bloomberg reporter.

Last week, Republicans refused to vote for the slate that includes Jerome Powell to serve a second term in the Fed Chair’s chair. This was due to Sarah Bloom Raskin being the head of financial regulation at the central bank.
