LendingTree Rallies As Q1 Revenue Guidance Reaches Above Estimates -Breaking

Investing.com — LendingTree Inc. (NASDAQ:) shares jumped Friday following the release of fourth quarter earnings.

North Carolina-based company reported earnings per share in the range of $3.53 to $258.3million. According to analysts polled Investing.comOn revenue of $259.44 million, EPS is expected to be $1.07.

LendingTree shares rose 14% over Thursday’s closing, driven by its revenue outlook for the quarter.

LendingTree expects to see first-quarter revenue of between $280million and $290million, which is higher than the consensus estimate at $277.7million. It expects to generate revenue between $1.2 billion and $1.25 trillion for the entire year.

Trent Ziegler (LendingTree’s CFO) stated that “the Home and Consumer segments continue performing well and helping to offset headwinds within our Insurance business which we view as temporary,”.

Ziegler stated, “Our capital structure is flexible and the balance sheet allow us flexibility that we didn’t have before the onset pandemic.” He also said Ziegler.
