Putin nuclear alert order part of pattern of made-up threats, U.S. says -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – The order by President Vladimir Putin to place Russian nuclear forces under high alert was part of a pattern that Moscow has used to justify its aggression, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki claimed on Sunday.

He has done this many times. Psaki stated that Russia has never been threatened by NATO or Ukraine.

This is all part of a pattern by President Putin, and we will stand against it. Psaki said that while we have the right to defend ourselves we must also call attention to what President Putin is doing.

Psaki stated that the United States was open to additional support for Ukraine. Psaki also said that Washington has not ruled out sanctions against Russia’s energy sector.

Psaki explained that although we don’t have the ability to take those things off, it is important for us to continue doing so and minimizing any impact on the global market. He also stated that we want to unite our efforts.
