LONDON, (Reuters) – International corporations that are exposed to Russia prepare for more Western sanctions after Moscow invades Ukraine.

Below is a listing of companies by region.

EUROPEAN COMPANIES

BASF

German chemicals manufacturer BASF shares Wintershall Dea – one of Russia’s financial backers for the Nord Stream 2 suspended gas pipeline – and Russian billionaire Mikhail Fridman’s LetterOne investors group. BASF says that Russia contributes only 1% to its overall sales.

BP (NYSE -:)

British oil magnate, Rosneft’s largest foreign investor, stated on Sunday that it would sell 19.75% of its stake in Rosneft. It said this in response to Russia’s invasion. The announcement marked an abrupt end to 30 years of difficult work in Russia. Other Russian oil-and gas projects are also held by the company.

COCA-COLA HBC

London-listed Coke bottles Coca Cola for Russia, Ukraine, as well as much of Central and Eastern Europe. Russia ranks among the company’s largest markets. It employs approximately 7,000 Russians.

DANONE

French dairy producer Prostokvanhino is controlled by the French yoghurt manufacturer and takes 6% from Russian total sales.

ENGIE

Gazprom’s Nord Stream 2 is co-financed by five French utility gas utilities (MCX:).

EQUINOR

Three Russian oilfields are held by the Norwegian company.

GenerALIZATION

Ingosstrakh is Russia’s second-largest insurer.

HEIDELBERGCEMENT

Three plants are owned by the German firm, which claims they don’t export to Russia.

MAIRE TECNIMONT

Italian engineering firm, a 17% shareholder in its overall order portfolio, has 1.5 billion euro ($1.68 million) order portfolio in Russia. Rosneft awarded it the project to create a VGO hydrocracking complex in Ryazan.

METRO

It employs approximately 10,000 workers in Russia, where it serves about 2.5 million clients. In Ukraine, 26 of its stores are operated by the German retailer.

NEST

While Russia accounts for nearly three-quarters of the Finnish refiner’s oil requirements, it states that most of its imports come from Russia.

NESTLE

According to the company’s website, six Swiss factories were operating in Russia by 2020. These included plants that make confectionary. The company’s Russian 2020 sales were approximately $1.7 billion.

NOKIAN TYRES

Finnish firm has both a Russian plant and large tyre storage facility in Russia.

OMV

This oil and gas firm is Austria’s largest importer and financial backer for Nord Stream 2. It holds 24.99% of the Russian gasfield Juschnoe-Russkoje.

RENAULT

Citibank reports that the French carmaker earns 8% of its core earnings from Russia. Avtovaz, the Russian joint venture that owns 69% of French carmaker Lada, is its mainstay and it sells over 90% of its local production.

ROLLS-ROYCE

Although 20% of the titanium used in British aircraft engines comes from Russia, it claimed that Russia contributes less to its overall revenue than 2%.

SAFRAN

VSMPO AVISMA in Russia is France’s biggest single supplier of titanium, but the French company claims Russia only supplies half.

SHELL

Anglo-Dutch oil firm owns 27.5% in Sakhali-2, a Sakhali-2 liquefied Project with an annual production capacity of 10.9 Million tonnes. Gazprom manages it. Nord Stream 2’s five co-financiers include it.

TOTALENERGIES

According to the company’s website, the French oil giant is among the largest investors in Russia. It holds a 19.4% interest in Russia’s Novatek and a 20 percent stake in Yamal LNG 2 joint venture.

UNIPER

Nord Stream 2 is a Russian project that has a total $1 billion exposure for the German utility. It also owns five power plants with a combined capacity 11.2 gigawatts. This provides about 5% to Russia’s energy requirements. Uniper, Fortum its controlling shareholder own 12 Russian power plants and employs 7,000 workers.

VOLKSWAGEN

German carmaker Volkswagen has Russian factories with around 4000 employees. In 2021 it built approximately 170,000 cars in Russia, which is a relatively small amount compared to the 8.9 millions units worldwide.

ASIAN COMPANIES

JAPAN TOBACCO

It employs around 4,000 people in its Russian plant, and the tax payments it made to the Russian Federation for 2020 represented 1.4% of its state budget. According to its website, the company claimed that its tax payments contributed 1.4%. About a fifth of the profits of this former tobacco monopoly are derived from the Commonwealth of Independent States. This includes Russia and Belarus.

MARUBENI CORP

This Japanese trading house maintains four Russian branches. It sells mining equipment tyres, and also manages an emergency room.

MITSUBISHI CORP

There are 141 Mitsubishi Motor dealerships in Russia. It also has an interest in Sakhalin II oil and gas development project. This supplies Japan with LNG and sells coal, aluminum, nickel, and coal. The company also exports power plant equipment to Russia.

SBI HOLDINGS

SBI Bank is a bank that was founded almost 30 years ago. It offers services for corporate clients and loans to Japanese firms expanding in Russia.

TOYOTA

Company’s Saint Petersburg plant makes Camry, RAV4 and other vehicles. It also has a Moscow office. There are approximately 2,600 employees, 26 of which are Japanese, located at these locations.
