REUTERS/Rebecca Cook(Reuters) – Lordstown Motors Corp announced Monday that the startup for electric vehicles Lordstown Motors Corp expects to make and sell 500 Endurance-electric pickup trucks this fiscal year.
In 2023, the company plans to sell up to 2,500 units.
As the automaker revealed that $115million was spent on expenses related to Endurance, its net loss in the fourth quarter grew to $81.2million.
Because of parts and material shortages and other supply chain problems, Ohio’s start-up delayed the launch by one quarter to three quarters.
