Russian court rejects Google appeal against 7.2 billion rouble fine

MOSCOW (Reuters) – A Russian court rejected Monday’s appeal from Alphabet (NASDAQ) Inc and imposed a 7.2 million rouble (73.39 Million) penalty for failing to remove content Russia deems illegal. The Interfax news agency cited this court.

Google has not yet responded to Reuters’s request for comment.
