(Reuters) -Jefferies Financial Group Inc announced Monday that all its net global trading revenues will be donated to Ukranian humanitarian aid. Chief Executive Officer Richard Handler made the announcement in an Instagram post.

According to a statement, the bank will give net global trading commissions on all transactions in equity, fixed income, and foreign exchange that are made by its clients.

Jefferies also will contribute $1 million.

The bank stated that “Given Ukraine’s complex and evolving situation, we will carefully allocate these donations to qualified charities so the proceeds directly go to those most in need.”

Jefferies claimed that they do not have office in Russia and Ukraine.

Separately, JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:) said it would make an initial donation of $1 million and would match employee donations dollar-for-dollar to select humanitarian relief organizations, according to a memo seen by Reuters.
