Kohl’s (KSS) reports Q4 2021 earnings

Kohl’sThe fourth quarter fiscal sales report was released Tuesday. They were below the analysts’ expectations for key holiday quarter.
However, earnings exceeded expectations and shares traded down about 1% premarket.
Retailer Refinitiv shared a positive outlook for fiscal 2022 and called for sales to increase by 2% to 3.3%. Refinitiv reports that analysts were expecting year-over–year growth of 2.2%.

Kohl’s shares were up nearly 12% over the past year, making it $7.7B in market cap as of Monday’s closing.
