WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S.-based United Parcel Service Inc (NYSE 🙂 announced Tuesday that it had halted Russian overflights as the White House debates whether or not to shut down U.S. Airspace.

UPS spokesmen said they have contingency plans that allow them to serve customers even if it is not possible to fly in certain areas. It also means that they will not fly to Russia. American Airlines (NASDAQ) and Delta Air Lines, (NYSE:), both announced Monday that they had also halted Russian overflights.
