SalesforceIt beat analyst estimates of profit and revenue for its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings reports. Extended trading saw the stock surge.

Salesforce forecasts revenue between $7.37 billion to $7.38 billion for the quarter. Refinitiv analysts polled had predicted $7.26 Billion in revenue.
According to the company, revenue for 2023 will range from $32 billion up to $32.1 billion. Refinitiv surveyed analysts and they expected revenue of $31.78 billion.

After Quip, a productivity software startup was acquired by Salesforce in 2016, Taylor joined Salesforce and rose quickly to the top of the company’s ranks as chief operating officer.
Prior to the after-hours move, Salesforce has dropped 15% so far this year, underperforming the S&P 500, which is down about 10%.
