FRANKFURT (Reuters] – TUI, world’s biggest holiday provider, has reported that holiday bookings are rising towards levels pre-pandemic.

Stefan Baumert stated to the Funke newspaper group, “Our customers still have some work to do.”

He said that he was confident in his ability to reach the 2019 level. Additionally, he expects travelling to be more enjoyable this summer because there are fewer restrictions due to the coronavirus epidemic.

TUI reported last month that summer vacation bookings are approaching pre-COVID levels due to pent-up demand. There has been a steady recovery since the lifting of restrictions and testing regulations in Britain.
